A few helpful answers
Where can I find Cats GO?
Get Cats GO for iPhone and iPad through the App Store, or for Android through Google Play. Use the store buttons on our home page, and check the store listing for your device compatibility. Contact us if you need help accessing the game.
Can I add a cat from my photo gallery?
Yes. Choose a photo from your gallery to add the cat to your game. Gallery cats can earn experience (XP) normally through care and play. They are not counted as newly collected cats and do not increase your total in the Collectors ranking. Read about photos and recognition.
My cat photo won’t upload or be accepted.
Cats GO automatically looks for a cat in your photo. A very dark, blurry or low-quality image may prevent detection. Try a clearer photo in better light, with the cat clearly visible, and use a stable connection. Check the app’s camera or selected-photo permission in your device settings. Cat detection and online moderation can affect acceptance. If the issue continues, tell us your device, app version and the exact message you see.
How do I change camera or location permissions?
Open your phone or tablet’s Settings, find Cats GO and review its permissions. Camera access lets you take a photo; location access supports walking and encounter locations. Location permission is separate from publishing a cat’s location. You can select an encounter location manually when GPS is unavailable.
How do I make a cat or profile private?
Review Privacy in your Profile and the sharing settings in each cat’s details. New online profiles and reviewed cats are public by default in Cats GO. Original-photo sharing has a separate control. Hide or remove a cat’s map pin in its details. Read what other players can see.
I can’t sign in or I’ve lost my progress.
Check that you are using the email connected to your online account. A private device-only album is separate from an online account. Do not clear app storage or reinstall before exporting local progress. Use password recovery if the app shows it as available, or contact support from your account email.
How does Premium work?
Premium is a one-time unlock in Cats GO. The optional seven-day trial does not automatically charge you. The free collection allows up to 10 cats. Paid Premium includes one personal AI portrait per game account; the trial does not. Further portraits use purchased Paws. Check the store checkout and purchase terms before buying.
A purchase or restore hasn’t worked.
Use the same game and store accounts used for the purchase, then try the app’s restore option. If the entitlement is still missing, contact us with your platform, item and transaction reference. Do not send card details.
How do I report a player, photo or location?
Use the app’s report or block controls when available, or choose “Report content or a safety concern” in the contact form. Include the relevant nickname or cat name and describe the issue. Avoid sending private locations or other people’s personal information unless needed to explain the report.
Which devices and app version are supported?
Cats GO supports iPhone, iPad and Android. Check the official store listing for device compatibility and current operating-system requirements. For help, include the version and build shown in your app.
